As the first mineral resources company established in Mongolia by China Baobei Investment Group, Mongolia Asia-Pacific Resources Co., Ltd. has acquired
11 mines in Mongolia located within the Tuv Province. These mines assume favorable geographic locations and sound mining conditions. TASIDAM Coal Mine,
which is located within the Bayan County of Tuv Province and 118km away from Ulaanbaatar ----- the capital of Mongolia to the southeast, has a total reserve of around 4.3 billion tons. The mineral zone is merely 18km away from the railway network and about 400km away from Erlianhot of China,presenting a promising market prospect.. Eight coal mines of the company enjoy a total reserve of nearly 10 billion tons.In addition, the company also has a gold-copper mine within the most renowned gold zone of Mongolia with the highest reserve concentration, namely, the Benbogor County of Bayanhongor Province. The gold-copper mine, 450km away from Ulaanbaatar, occupies a total area of 982 hectares, with an estimated gold ore reserve of 28 tons and a brass powder reserve of over 0.3 million tons, demonstrating a considerable value for exploration. In addition, there is also a uranium mine with a relatively high concentration in East Gobi Province. |
